Carton packaging box refers to the use of paper boxes for packaging products in a way, mainly used for transportation and storage of goods. Carton packaging has easy to take materials, light weight, easy to print, easy to design and mold, low cost and other characteristics, so it is widely used in the sales of goods packaging and transportation packaging.

White paperboard: Smooth paper surface, low cost, mainly used for food packaging.

Industrial board (medium fiber board): Firm and thick, good overall effect, mainly used for fine packaging.

Corrugated board: Divided into three-layer and five-layer, according to the size of corrugated board is divided into A, B, C, E, F five types (the main difference is the thickness), commonly used in clothing packaging, aircraft boxes, carton packaging boxes and so on.

Storage environment
● Keep dry: Carton is easily damp and moldy, so the place where the carton is stored should be kept dry, and avoid placing the carton in a damp place such as a basement or bathroom. You can use dehumidifiers, air conditioners, and other humidity control devices to ensure that the ambient humidity is less than 65% RH.
● Well ventilated: Keeping the warehouse or storage environment well ventilated will help prevent mold growth and odor buildup.
● Avoid direct sunlight: Sunlight can cause cartons to yellow and even become brittle. Therefore, the place where the cartons are stored should avoid direct sunlight, and you can choose a window without direct sunlight or take measures to shade the sun.

Stacking method
● Flat storage: Cartons should be stored flat, not vertically, to avoid deformation or damage caused by gravity.
● Stack at proper height: When stacking cartons, make sure the stacking height is correct to prevent the cartons from collapsing due to excessive height.
● Avoid Pressure: To avoid excessive pressure on the box during storage, you can store the box on a flat surface to avoid being pressed by other heavy objects.

Cleaning and maintenance
● Regular Cleaning: Clean the box regularly to remove dust and stains from the surface. You can use a soft cloth or hair dryer to assist in cleaning, avoid using too wet cloth.
● Anti-humidity and anti-insects: Place dehumidifiers around the box to absorb moisture; at the same time, place some anti-insect pills or scented packets in the place where the box is stored to prevent insect pests.
● Use anti-mould agent: In the carton production process or before storage, you can add the appropriate amount of environmentally friendly mold inhibitor to inhibit the growth of mold. However, it should be noted that the choice of anti-mold agent should meet the requirements of environmental protection and safety, so as not to harm the environment and human body.

Regular inspection
● Check for damage: Regularly check whether the stored cartons are damaged, wet, moth and other phenomena, timely detection of problems and deal with them.
● Check sealing: For cartons that need to be sealed for storage, check whether the sealing is good to prevent moisture from entering.

Transportation precautions
● Avoid excessive crushing and impact: When transporting cartons, we should pay attention to avoid excessive crushing and impact to protect the integrity of cartons.
● Appropriate loading: According to the size and weight of the carton, load the goods reasonably, avoid overloading or imbalance, which may cause the carton to break.

Raw material preparation: Paperboard factories need to prepare pulp raw materials that can be recycled and reused by using waste paper, bamboo pulp, etc., in order to reduce the consumption of resources. Then the pulp is converted into paperboard by paperboard production line, the process includes pulp mixing, pulp molding, drying and pressing steps.

Design board manufacturing: Designers design the appropriate paperboard structure, size and pattern according to customer's needs and product characteristics. Then, through the professional plate-making equipment, the design pattern is made into a printing plate to prepare for subsequent printing.

Printing: In the printing process, the paper is fed into the printing machine, and through the rotation of the cylinder, the ink is evenly applied to the printing plate, and then the design is printed on the paper. The printing process requires strict control of the viscosity, pressure and speed of the ink to ensure the clarity and color saturation of the printing effect.

Pressing and slitting: According to the designed size and shape, a sharp knife is used to cut the paper into the desired shape. At the same time, creases are pressed into the paper to facilitate subsequent folding and forming. This process requires high-precision equipment and skilled operator techniques to ensure that the boxes are dimensionally accurate and aesthetically pleasing.

Gluing and forming: The process of folding the cut sheets into cartons. On the gluing machine, the paper is folded into the shape of a carton according to a predetermined crease by an automatic gluing and folding mechanism. This process requires precise control of the folding angle and the amount of glue to ensure the strength and aesthetics of the carton.

Quality control and packaging: In the quality control section, employees perform a comprehensive inspection of the size, shape, printing, adhesive strength, and other aspects of the carton to ensure that each batch of cartons meets quality requirements. Qualified cartons are packaged and labeled and then transported to the warehouse for shipment.

Proper storage: Cartons should be stored in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Stacks of boxes should be neatly arranged and not too high, as this can cause the boxes to buckle or crush.

Avoid overloading: Overloading boxes can cause them to collapse, especially if the boxes are not designed to handle the weight. Companies should follow the recommended weight capacity of each box and distribute the weight evenly to prevent damage.

Use pallets: Pallets can provide additional support for stacks of boxes and reduce the risk of damage. Pallets also make it easier to move stacks of boxes around the warehouse or onto delivery trucks.

Label boxes properly: Clearly labeling boxes with their contents, weight, and handling instructions can help prevent damage during shipping or storage.

Regular inspections: Regular inspections of inventory and boxes can help identify potential problems and take corrective action before boxes fail.
