1. Setting principle of bar code symbol printing position
The printing position of bar code symbol shall be selected based on the principle of no deformation, easy reading and convenient plate making and printing. First, it is selected on the right side of the main display surface of the commodity package; Second, select the plane connected to the main display surface of the commodity; Finally, it is selected on the back of the main display surface of the commodity package.
When assembling, the direction of the barcode shall be consistent with the printing direction, so that the deformation of the barcode occurs at the height of the barcode, without affecting the width and size of the barcode and the reading accuracy.
2. Position of bar code symbols on various forms of packaging
(1) Box packaging. The box packaging barcode should be printed on the bottom of the box, and should not be printed in the center as far as possible; In rectangular box packaging, the bar code is best printed in the center of the long side at the bottom of the box.
(2) Canned and bottled. The barcode should be printed below one side of the label paper. The surface curvature of bar code symbol shall not exceed 30. (d≤30。)
(3) Barrel packaging. The barcode should be printed on the side of the barrel; If the side cannot be printed, the barcode can be printed on the cover of the barrel package, but the cover depth cannot exceed 13rnm. If the package is a liquid that is easy to leak, the barcode shall not be printed on the cover.
(4) Bag packaging. When there is a bottom and the bottom is large enough, the barcode should be printed on the bottom, otherwise it can be printed in the center below the back; For large packaging bags, the barcode shall be printed on the lower right side of the back, but it shall not be printed on the lower side to prevent the barcode from being distorted; A small plastic bag or paper bag without a bottom, and the barcode is printed in the center below the back. If there is a seam in the middle of the back, it shall be printed on the lower right side or the place without wrinkles and deformation after filling; Because most of the contents of vacuum packaging are in irregular shape, after vacuuming, the packaging bag is closely attached to the surface of the contents, which is in an irregular three-dimensional shape. The surface is uneven, which will cause the bar code to be deformed and unreadable. Therefore, it is not appropriate to directly print the bar code on the inner bag of vacuum packaging, but an outsourcing bag can be added to print the bar code and other images and texts.
(5) Blister packaging. The bar code should preferably be printed on the cardboard, and the height of the protruding package from the cardboard should not exceed 12mm; When the height of the protruding package from the cardboard is more than 12mm, the barcode should be placed as far away from the protruding package as possible.
(6) Other forms. Some commodity bar codes can be printed in the listing position.
