1. Quantitative: The weight per unit area of paper is called quantitative. It can be said that quantitative is one of the most basic performance indicators of our kraft paper, and quantitative is regarded as the characteristic parameter of kraft paper. The so-called quantification refers to the mass per unit area of paper and paperboard measured by the test method specified in the inspection, with the unit of g/m2. The accuracy of kraft paper quantitative determination is related to the area accuracy of the tested sample and the accuracy of the weighing device. The test method standard has strict requirements on sample saving instruments and stabilizing instruments.
2. Thickness: the thickness of kraft paper. The gram weight of kraft paper is related to the thickness. Generally, the thickness of high gram weight is thick. The loose thickness is affected by the fiber arrangement during forming, the pressing pressure and the difference of fiber raw materials. Perhaps the simplest way is to adjust the thickness by changing the pressing. The pressure is large and the thickness is small.
3. Burst resistance: It is a physical strength index. It is the maximum pressure that paper and paper bear on the unit area, and the unit is kpa. Usually, we measure it on the Mullen burst resistance instrument of the annular compression ring. The value directly obtained from the instrument is called the absolute bursting strength. Divide the absolute bursting strength by the paper weight to get the bursting index of paper or paperboard.
